AI and HPC Field Trip to Iceland (26-28 February, 2019)

Posted by Bob Fletcher

Following our first AI and HPC Field Trip to Iceland in October, we're pleased to announce we will be running a second Field Trip between 26-28 February, 2019. If you're working within the field of intensive AI and deep neural network development, and would like to be considered for attendance, please get in touch.

The rapid evolution and deployment of AI, machine learning and deep neural network technologies are placing intensive demands on high performance computing (HPC). As a leader in HPC, Verne Global’s Icelandic location and our HPC optimised campus and GPU-supported cloud solutions are specifically designed to cater for the extreme workloads characterised by AI.

Our bi-annual Field Trip is an opportunity to tour these world-class facilities and participate in two days of networking and discussion with a select group of AI pioneers and visionaries. Previous attendees have included OpenAI, Tesla, Liverpool Victoria Insurance and Capita. More details on the Field Trip are available here, and you can also read my blog on the previous Field Trip.

I look forward to welcoming you to Iceland!
