Verne appoints Anne Katrine Vestergaard Jensen as new Head of Marketing

Company News

Verne, provider of sustainable data center solutions for high intensity computing, today announced the appointment of Anne Katrine Vestergaard Jensen to the newly created role of Head of Marketing. Based at the company’s London headquarters, Jensen will lead Verne’s marketing strategy and operations across its entire Northern European platform, helping the company capitalise on the growing demand for cost effective data center services, powered by renewable energy sources.

Jensen brings considerable experience to Verne’s senior leadership team. Having started her career as a PR and social media specialist, she joined Interxion in 2016, where she rose through the ranks to manage the company’s automated marketing campaigns across EMEA. Following Interxion’s acquisition by Digital Realty, Jensen headed up channel and alliances marketing across 11 European countries, working in close collaboration with the hyperscalers and other strategic technology partners. Since 2021, Jensen has worked as a senior consultant for a number of fast-growing SaaS companies, helping them devise and implement scalable marketing strategies focused on delivering long-term revenue growth.

“Anne Katrine brings a broad range of relevant skills to our growing team, which will be invaluable as we continue to tap into the growing demand for Nordic data center services,” said Dominic Ward, CEO, Verne. “Her track record in the data center industry, coupled with her experience of helping fast growth companies scale and optimise their marketing operations, makes her the perfect fit for our business, so we are delighted to welcome her onboard.”

“Verne is a true trailblazer in the data center industry,” said Jensen. “It was one of the first operators to offer services entirely powered by renewables, and its Icelandic and Finnish campuses have been built for maximum efficiency, adhering to the principles of high-quality Nordic design. This is an incredibly compelling opportunity to be involved with, especially as more organisations seek to work with data operators that prioritise sustainability and operational excellence.”
