Verne Global participating at the ISC18 High Performance Summit, 24-28 June 2018

Posted by Adam Nethersole

For the fourth year running Verne Global are pleased to be taking part in Europe’s premier supercomputing and high performance computing (HPC) show – ISC18.

ISC18 takes place between 24-28 June and is once again hosted within the Frankfurt Messe. Over 3,500 HPC users, buyers, engineers and designers will meet across the five days of the conference and Verne Global is delighted to be a bronze partner.

At this years show our team will be highlighting our new hpcDIRECT product which provides highest specification bare-metal HPCaaS on a reserved or on-demand basis. hpcDIRECT can be carefully tailored for each customer’s applications and the architecture - designed and engineered with attuned interconnects -  enables users to experience a higher grade, _True_HPC solution when compared to HPC offerings based on virtualised clouds. All of this is hosted within an award-winning, HPC optimised campus and supported by a specialist HPC technical team.

At our booth (F-192) we will be showcasing hpcDIRECT at regular intervals and highlighting how it has been designed to cope with even the most demanding HPC workloads. You can contact our ISC18 Project Manager – Adam Nethersole, on adam.nethersole@verneglobal.com to schedule an introductory session at the show on hpcDIRECT – covering its application, deployment and benefits.

We will also be running a survey on attendees attitudes to IaaS solutions, which will give delegates the chance to win an all expenses paid trip for two, to Iceland and the famous Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. Visit our stand to enter!

In addition to our booth, our CTO, Tate Cantrell will be presenting in the Exhibitor Forum on Tuesday at 4.20pm (CET) and we will be supporting our Icelandic colleagues at Opin Kerfi on their large Iceland HPC booth.

We look forward to seeing you in Frankfurt!
