Jeff Monroe

Chief Executive Officer

Jeff Monroe is a veteran of the data center industry and has developed some of the largest and most sophisticated data centers in the industry, with a total value exceeding $1.8 billion USD. He was a co-founder of the DuPont Fabros Technology wholesale data center business and served as Managing Director, responsible for developing and implementing the wholesale operational model. Mr. Monroe was instrumental in all aspects of the business, including data center strategy, acquisitions, design, construction, operations, leasing and business development. Prior to Dupont Fabros, he was Vice President of Real Estate, Design, Construction and Director of Operations for AboveNet Communications, responsible for the deployment of twenty-four class A domestic and international technical facilities and the operations that supported more than five hundred collocation customers. Mr. Monroe also managed the build-out of some of the largest technical projects in the U.S., including the National Archives' 1.7 million square foot storage facility, the headquarters of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), including the primary IRS data center, and the primary data centers for America Online.

Tate Cantrell

Chief Technology Officer

Tate Cantrell's primary responsibilities include product design and development and data center operations. Prior to Verne Global, Mr. Cantrell acted as Vice President, Data Center Technologies, at Dupont Fabros Technology. He was responsible for development and execution of operational strategies critical to the start-up of the Dupont Fabros Development Wholesale Data Center business model, the first of its kind in the industry. Mr Cantrell also provided technical support for marketing and key business strategy expansion opportunities, and directed and managed strategy for all IT systems. Mr. Cantrell has been involved in data centers and other high tech facilities for more than 15 years, starting as a research programmer for computational modeling on biomedical applications.

Isaac Kato

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Isaac Kato is responsible for the company's finances, Icelandic governmental affairs and corporate development. Before joining Verne Global as a full-time employee, Mr. Kato was part of the team at General Catalyst Partners and Novator that initially conceived of and formed the venture. Prior to Verne Global, Mr. Kato was a Principal at General Catalyst Partners, a venture capital and private equity firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with over $2 billion USD under management. At GCP, he led the firm's investments in a number of technology-enabled services companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kato worked as an investor at Summit Partners, a global private equity fund, and Shamrock Holdings, Inc., the Roy E. Disney family's private equity firm.

Lisa Rhodes

Vice President of Marketing and Sales

Lisa Rhodes is responsible for all aspects of customer interaction, marketing and public relations. Over the past twenty years, she has held senior sales and operations roles in several global information and communications companies. She was Vice President of Sales at Alcatel, Senior Vice President of Sales at IPC, Director of Sales at Sycamore Networks and Senior Director at MCI. In every organization in which she has worked, Ms. Rhodes has played a leadership role, building and managing teams as small as 15 and as large as 300 with competencies in sales, software development, program management, network management, and OSS systems.
